I've always been bothered that there is no druidic circle that concentrates more on plants than on animals, and there's no real druid subclass that lets you have a companion. This is my circle of roots druid subclass. I really like it! Like concept wise, I think a Root Druid is super cool! But I feel like there should be an ability that lets you tap into and communicate with the mycorrhizal network a certain number of times per day (or short rest).
