The uppers worked flawlessly after the initial break-in on the following lowers: Aero Precision (x2) Colt; Anderson; Daniel Defense; While the lower worked with the following uppers: Aero Precision (x2) Colt; Daniel Defense; Accuracy. The Aero M4e1 and Gen2 looked good but were not mil spec.  I put A5 systems on all of the Aero M4E1 lowers along with Larue MBT triggers.  FWIW- I have SBR&rsquo;d Anderson lowers and I&rsquo;d do it again I would not buy psa because it's only purchased through transfer to ffl , means government and bank are tracking your purchases. Anecdotal, but the bolt catch was out of spec on the PSA lower build kit I got last summer. 5 upper BTW The Bushmaster Lower seem to have harder anodizing.  The people have been asking and PSA has been delivering in droves.  The Aero, PSA, and Anderson lower receivers that I&rsquo;ve bought all do the job.  Yeah prices went wayyy up on the sports, f that.  I&rsquo;ve built out 5 or so from each company for friends, and I&rsquo;ve had to open up the takedown pin hole on 2 PSAs to even get the pin to fit in (sandpaper around a Allen key) and I&rsquo;ve had ZERO fitment issues with Anderson. I believe I saw a couple of days ago that you could get a complete upper and complete lower from PSA - just stick them together and push in the pins - for about $350. Dec 29, 2019 · The Aero, PSA, and Anderson lower receivers that I&rsquo;ve bought all do the job.  No issue, the Aero lowers have a screw you can adjust for a tighter fit if one wanted.  But for me, my Anderson/PSA is just as fun to take out and shoot as my more expensive builds.  This isn't because I am a brand whore, but because I am cheap.  The only real reason to go for more expensive shit is roll mark, aesthetics, or ambi features.  I have an Anderson trigger that has their &quot;speed hammer&quot;, which apparently means learning how to clear light primer strikes with speed, because it can't make it three rounds in a row. However, PSA is at least as cheap (often cheaper) these days, and I have never once had a PSA lower that seemed out of spec in any way I can tell (and I mostly buy blems), so no Anderson's these days for me.  OP I happen to like LMT SOPMOD lowers I also have a Bushmaster lower with VLTOR tele stock and a LMT 14.  Cosmetically, Aero might be more consistent. I've built out 5-6 Anderson, 2 PSA, and 3 Aero m4e1 lowers at this point. The Anderson lowers are mil spec,went together with no problem and no fitting. 99 and DPMS for 129.  My Witch Doctor is an Anderson lower too.  Then a local FFL who does $15 for the fist lower and $5 each after that.  Sep 18, 2022 · Just a look at the &quot;roll marks&quot; on these lower receivers from PSA.  The fit and finish actually seems a little nicer than my PSA.  That's why they are called adult Legos. They also had the keyhole forge mark on the trigger housing like my Colt m4a1socoms.  With PSA and Anderson the trigger pin holes are often too large and require the use of anti walk pins for standard triggers. Aero is only slightly more expensive than PSA and I&rsquo;d run Aero.  There are subtle differences between them, some have better quality in appearance, but all are functionally the same. That being said, I would go PSA, especially their Sabre line.  I&rsquo;ve got over a dozen Anderson lowers, and apart from a shallow grip screw hole, they&rsquo;re exactly the same as my Aero, DD, and PSA lowers.  They do good things just like PSA, theyre middling quality, just like PSA.  Their Freedom line is also good (FN barrels). Other than that you can get yourself a poverty pony (Anderson stripped lower).  No problems.  If you're just talking about uppers, my vote goes to Aero.  One anderson i built a magwell that was a little snug but seemed to loosen up after a bunch of reloads.  May 31, 2024 · Both have been in spec and worked great.  Where the world of difference comes into play is the upper and the guts.  (PSA upper and lower) It has the nice FN CHF 1/7 CL barrel.  I have two SOLGW LPKs and they also look like the parts were sourced from different suppliers.  The barrel comes with a sub-moa guarantee and their M4E1 upper and handguards mount together very solidly.  Let&rsquo;s see how they fare. My particular PSA lowers happen to fit much tighter than all 4 Aero ME41 lowers.  99.  if there are other things that I miss, please feel free to post up, and we&rsquo;ll modify the thread.  Best machining and finish on a forged lower I have seen.  By the time I figure in a transfer fee, and just being able to grab it, pay for it, and walk out, that's a good price versus getting one online and transferring. Oct 23, 2015 · I've liked the Aero better than PSA, mainly because the Aero Gen 2 lowers have a tensioning screw to take up any slop between lower/upper.  I&rsquo;m using my Poverty Pony lowers to make fun guns out of 🤷🏻&zwj;♂️.  When a bud bought some lowers from them they arrived at his ffl (3 weeks later) in a box with newspaper and they were beat to heck.  I imagine spikes are the same as any other lower as well. 56 barrels are the middle of the road for PSA.  I have built multiple guns from both. Pretty much all lowers are fine, assuming they didn't have a QC failure.  It seams very nice and accurate. My only recommendation is to use quality lower parts kits because the psa lower park kits are a little suspect to me. Nov 21, 2017 · I own several uppers and lowers from Aero and PSA and a pile of lowers from Anderson. 99 or the put together Blemished Magpul MOE or standard Blem lower for 179.  I did not want to stand in line for hours to get one.  I am debating between buying the Palmetto State and the Anderson (with stainles trigger) complete lowers which both have the same Magpul furniture on them.  The Aero's have had better machining and more consistent finish quality, I've yet to have issues significant enough to have to do an RMA, but have had to modify a few takedown pin holes on the Anderson's, and clean blasting media out of a detent hole on an Aero. Imagine putting Start your AR-15 build with a stripped or fully assembled AR-15 lower receiver from Palmetto State Armory.
