Hey everyone, I've found myself in a bit of a dilemma choosing between my first graphics API with OpenGL or Direct3D11 with an end goal of learning Vulkan. 3 to be exact). Do NOT start with Vulkan, EVER. They tend to support the common features across APIs but it gets weird if you move past that. OpenGL is not the fastest, Vulkan can be fast, but it depends on how good the programmer is. OpenGL: This graphics API is best only for very low end systems. BGFX abstracts rendering APIs, Vulkan and OpenGL are rendering APIs. If you do notice issues go back to normal. So far I followed vkguide and vulkan-tutorial up to the point of rendering first triangle.
