BLT1 is a good cert, in my opinion, CPTS will be better than Ejpt, research about, and the blue team cert on htb really good content. I recently enrolled in the HTB Academy CPTS course, and I've managed to cover about 10-12% of the material over the past six days. What's cool about the CPTS material over the PEN200/OSCP material is that HTB guarantees it's going to teach you everything you need for the cert.  All the material from CBBH is included in CPTS, and CPTS both teaches you a lot more, and makes it a lot easier to get a cybersecurity related job. Hi, I am planning to learn both Penetration Testing and Bug Bounty Path.  CPTS will teach you what&rsquo;s on PEN200 (OSCP course) and more .  If they did put videos like OSCP and OSEP it would be more enjoyable to do the CPTS.  Due to budget and absence of collaboration with OffSec and my college, I will work with HackTheBox academy for now.  If you are able to complete CPTS, I mean really pass the cpts, not just the module in CPTS.  Make sure you do the 3 practice exams.  Then start moving into either some easy active boxes, or check out TJnull's list and try those out yourself.  I took eJPT and PNPT before enrolled myself in CPTS course.  HTB Pro labs, depending on the Lab is significantly harder.  Our young recruits are coming out of college either BS in computer science or cybersecurity (preferably). For me, it is arguably the best learning resource out there, especially with the student discount applied. I think most of people agree that the study duration of any subject heavily depends on the individual's experience.  They are forcing the course, selling the cubes, and discounting the Cert Exam Price.  Think it expires on the 31st.  I think THM vs HTB is also about experience level and the audience both are looking for.  If you want just the oscp, buy the ad module and maybe a few others on the cpts path.  The thing which get people bored with CPTS is it&rsquo;s too much reading like extremely too much reading and the thing that you&rsquo;re obligated to complete the exercise just to be able to complete the module and get the path conpleted is quite exaggerated.  Typically HTB will give you something over port 80 or 8080 as your starting point from there you will probably get a webshell or a low functioning shell (file upload vulnerability)where maybe you are able to pull down some ssh credentials or find an SMB share on another system.  If you have $482 consider purchasing all the paths and the prefered exam voucher separately. While I was going through it a question came up to mind.  I&rsquo;ll try to expand later.  Because I think it is the most efficient way of learning if I combine the theory immediately with practice.  Even though it covers some different things than CPTS, I&rsquo;ve considered doing CBBH first for a couple reasons: 1) More reps against web applications, which is a big aspect of the CPTS; 2) Experience doing an HTB exam, which would give more confidence and comfort going into the CPTS. Personally there is no absolute path, you must find how you learn best.  On HTB i use Parrot.  You can supplement other material but doing the labs and exercises is the best way to prepare.  PNPT was an enjoyable ride, the required course modules for CPTS though, cover much more than what TCM courses cover.  My plan was to do CPTS course first because I heard it was harder than OSCP.  PNPT is a good precursor to OSCP and CPTS.  The eJPT was alright when Hack The Box Academy (and by extension, the CPTS) didn't exist.  If you want , you can enroll on PNTP courses and even take the exam .  Cpts is a 10 day exam,where 10 days sometimes are not even enough compared to other certs, it's brutal, and you need 100% academy completion to be able to pass it which is nuts.  And you can do 100 HTB boxes .  Do the HTB Dante lab, and you'll be ready for the ecppt exam for the most part.  Once you've completed HTB Academy, try out HTB Starting Point.  Makes it easier to pick a box to go for on the main platform.  Although I&rsquo;ve taken a few of Heath&rsquo;s stuff and it&rsquo;s also amazing. HTB Academy Silver Subscription CPTS I've recently purchased the Silver subscription for Hack The Box Academy (in January) , running through the CPTS course as my goal is to become a Penetration tester (I studied Cybersecurity at university, enjoyed and did well in the penetration testing units, and currently work as a System Administrator).  The new exam I can't speak for I took v2.  TryHackMe is a better place to start though.  CDSA is new and HTB in general doesn&rsquo;t have huge industry recognition for its certifications, but it is a good platform to learn and practice the skills. So in theory, if you finished CPTS track you should be able to pass OSCP without many issues .  HTB CPTS is a highly hands-on certification that assesses the candidates&rsquo; penetration testing skills.  But I probably wouldn't bother with them now that such an alternative does.  I&rsquo;m almost done with the CPTS and it&rsquo;s common to see this in every academy module/skills assessment.  For example, attacking domain trust modules.  It was $24 for 3 months of Academy student + $210 for the exam + ~$6 for foreign transaction fees to convert freedom dollars into the king's pounds as they're in the UK.  If you look at OSCP for example there is the TJ Null list.  3 month subscription for the pen-200 is more than enough.  I approached each exam differently.  The MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) is offered by the AAMC and is a required exam for admission to medical schools in the USA and Canada.  You not only learn some stuff but will prepare for OSCP , for example .  However, I think that I represent the average HTB student thinking to commit to the CPTS path: I consider myself IT literate.  I have just started my journey through the CPTS syllabus and just had several questions about the Exam.  The goal is to have a completed and easy to use notebook filled with commands to use for the exam with everything u need.  I just took the CPTS exam.  Even John Hammond publicly admitted to failing the CPTS.  Once you start the PWK2023 course the best practice is the course labs.  I would say that HTB definitely assumes some knowledge with their 2 certification paths.  I have the CPTS.  HTB CPTS vs HTB ProLabs In terms of difficulty or scale, which is more difficult the CPTS exam or HTB Pro Labs like Dante, Zephyr, Rasta &amp; Offshore.  Pentester path, and I'm currently engaged with HTB Academy.
